Moving site has broken iNove theme
-
We are trying to move our site from wordpress to a hosted provider. The provider has wordpress 3.1 installed and i have installed the iNova theme from the dashboard. However when I import my site, which was in a iNove theme, from wordprees I get lots of errors, mainly ‘Menu item skipped due to missing menu slug’ and I am missing the menu under ‘Theme locations’ with the message ‘The current theme does not natively support menus….’
What am i doing wrong? Thanks -

The self-hosted version of iNove does not support custom menus.
You will either have to “hack” the theme and add support for the custom menus yourself (requires good knowledge of PHP scripting and of wordpress and themes in general) or you will have to live with the the stock supported menu (not custom).
The other alternative is to find a theme that does support custom menus and switch to that.
