Moving site to new hosting has jettisoned jetpack stats

  I’ve moved my blog to a new installation of WordPress and it appears that connecting the new install of Jetpack to my WordPress.com account has created a new blog in my WordPress.com dashboard. I think the cause is that the original blog (www.thenubbyadmin.com) had the ‘www’ as the blog title. Now the URL is simply thenubbyadmin.com. The old blog has ID# 13339017 the new blog has ID# 66440732.

  It appears, from my search on the forums, that the only way this can be remedied is through manual intervention on the part of a WordPress employee. Is this still true?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  A’ighty. So unless things have changed, the only option is to post a forum thread about it and hope a WordPress / Automattic employee sees it and takes pity.

  So to those reading, consider this a plea for pity. =)

  I have disconnected the old blog ID from your Jetpack connection. Can you check and make sure everything is working correctly now?

  I do see only one “The Nubby Admin” blog in my site list, however I was under the impression that the stats for the two could be merged so that I don’t lose the statistical history of the old “www.thenubbyadmin.com” site while I move to favoring the non-www “thenubbyadmin.com” domain.

  Or do I have to burn that bridge and carry on without the old statistics?

  Excellent! Looks good. Got my old numbers back combined with the new. Now I can march onward with the blogging. Thanks so much Jeremy!
