Moving Site to WordPress

Hi, we already have a website, in a few languages. About 80 pages in all. Can we move it, including our (dot)htaccess and robots.txt pages over to WordPress? If so, how do we open and maintain hidden docs like the two mentioned? You fcc an see the English pages at http://www.Aloe-Vera.Org I want to move this site, established in 1997, to be mobile friendly across all pages, without losing established rank and social media. But, if I can’t include the robot’s and htaccess pages, it won’t be viable. (I’d purchase the plan to have just our domain show.)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Howdy!

The ht access and robots.txt files are generated automatically and we do not support manual editing of these on WordPress.com.

There are 2 versions of WordPress. What happens here at WordPress.com is a bit different from self hosted WordPress. This guide outlines those differences:

I suggest looking over the Getting Started materials on the left of the self hosted WordPress support page https://wordpress.org/support/
