Moving Subscribers

We’d like to move our subscribers from https://floridawriters.wordpress.com/wp-login.php to our self-hosted WordPress site at https://floridawriters.net

On the self-hosted site we are using MailChimp to send our RSS-driven update, so we would like to get an export of the subscribers.

We are a nonprofit group serving writing in the state of Florida and we are an all-volunteer organization, so any help you can give us to achieve this task would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi Mary Ann,

We can certainly help you move your subscribers over to your new self-hosted WordPress.org site, but when that is complete they will still be subscribed in the same manner (they will receive notifications whenever you publish a new post based off of the subscription settings which they created).

We have no way in which we can export email addresses for import in to completely different system, I’m afraid. If you would like to transition to a third party notification or email system, then most users create a blog post asking their users to sign up and provide a link directly in that post to make it as easy as possible.

As far as moving users to your WordPress.org site, you can follow the instructions right here: http://jetpack.me/support/subscriptions/transferring-followers/ or if you run in to problems please let me know and I can take care of the migration for you.
