Moving Subscribers
-
I have looked all over on WordPress support for help with this, and the support page says
“If you want to move your site’s subscribers and followers over to another WordPress.com site that you own, you can *Contact Us*, and we’ll take care of it in a jiffy.”
However when I click on “Contact Us” it takes me back to the page I started on. I would really like to move my subscribers from my wordpress.com site to my wordpress.org site. I appreciate the help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. If you’re trying to move your subscribers to a WordPress.org site you’ll first need to install the Jetpack plugin to that site, and then follow the instructions for moving followers to a self-hosted site in this support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site
If you get stuck, let us know in a reply to this thread. Also please include the URL of your WordPress.com site from which the followers must be moved.

The Jetpack plugin is installed, but I’m having a hard time. The problem is that I bought a domain with the wordpress.com site and transferred that domain over to the wordpress.org site. So it gets confusing to me. http://www.onemorethingkp.com was the old site and now is the new one, but I can still login to the wordpress.com site and see all of my followers. Does that make sense? Sorry this is new for me and it is definitely a learning curve!

What is the URL of the WordPress.com site, i.e. http://%5Bwhat_is_this%5D.wordpress.com/ ?
It is perfectly normal to still see that site, as that site is permanently hosted on WordPress.com. Your domain was simply laid over it. Once you’ve moved everything over to your .org site you can just set that one to private.
Have you already moved your content over to the WordPress.org site? Instructions for that are here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

Yes, sir, I’ve already moved all of my content over. Ah ok, my URL for the WordPress.com site is http://www.onemorethingkp.wordpress.com
Is it easy to set my wordpress.com site to private?

I’ll tag this for staff assistance in moving your followers. Please be patient while waiting for them to reply.
Instructions to set the WP.com site to private can be found here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ , but you should probably wait until your followers have been moved. It might also be a good idea to publish a post on your WP.com site warning your followers that you’re changing to a self-hosted site and that their subscriptions will be moved there. That will also notify people who subscribe to your RSS feed, as staff here can only move WordPress.com and email followers, not RSS followers.

Thanks! I just started the migration. It should complete within an hour. :)
Let me know if I can help with anything else!

Thank you so much! I do have one other question, is there any way for me to make my mobile site identical to my normal site that you see when you access it from a computer?

It looks like your site is currently responsive, which means it resizes and reorganizes to be optimized for every screen size. This is actually a good thing as it increases the accessibility of your site and makes it easy to use on any device.
If you want to change this behavior, you’ll have to contact the theme designer or post in the WordPress.org forums:
