Hi Gerard,
I’ve moved those subscribers for you.
I also took a look at your old site. I notice you upload very high-res images, up to 5000px wide. You can make your free media storage last a lot longer if you optimize your images before uploading them:
A 5000px jpg can be anything upwards of 3MB, with some images in your media library coming at at 5MB big.
Meanwhile, your theme on that site could display images at a maximum of 619px wide, which would give an image of only 200kb or so. So in effect you lost a lot of storage space by uploading imaged bigger than is needed on the site.
On the Hever theme on your new site you don’t have that limitation – while the content area is 740px wide, with the full-width alignment option you can have your images display full screen. But even then, most computer screens won’t show your images any bigger than 2000px wide, which will still get you in at a file size under 1MB big.
So going forward, consider resizing your images to at most 2000px wide before uploading them. You can also use a tool like JPEGMini to further strip down the file size without losing any quality, and make your media storage last much longer.
