transfer subscibers from wordpress.com site to self hosted wordpress.org site. can’t find contact information.

Well while I have you, I have a brownieruns.com profile on my wordpress.com, but I don’t use it and dont think this has anything to do with my wordpress.org site by the same name right? Can I just delete it?

Do you mean the self-hosted site or brownieruns.wordpress.com?
Note that if I remove the linked site from your WordPress.com account Jetpack will stop working.

I use my self hosted site, i do not use brownieruns.wordpress.com. do I need to keep that? is that linking it?

You don’t need to keep brownieruns.wordpress.com if you only use your self-hosted site.
To permanently delete your blog, please follow this guide:

If you want to temporarily hide your blog instead, please use privacy option so only you and logged-in members of the blog can view it.
