Moving Subscribers

  Hey there,

  I decided to host my own website but with my Jetpack I’m still linked to wordpress. I’d like to transfer all of my wordpress subscribers but it doesn’t seem to be possible. I followed the wordpress descriptions concerning the subscriber widget in the sidebar, already but I still can’t move my subscribers. Beside at the end of the description there was a request to contact wordpress directly so that they’re gonna move my subscribers for me. Is it possible to move them without paying something? If not: Can I transfer them in some way? I’m desperate. Please help!

  Your WordPress.com subscribers and email followers have been transferred as requested.

  Please note that any WordPress.com followers who opted to receive email updates will need to re-subscribe again on your new site through the Jetpack signup box, otherwise they’ll only see new posts in their Reader. Non-WordPress.com email subscribers will continue to get email updates.

  You might think about setting up a Site Redirect for your WordPress.com site at sugarpopfashion.wordpress.com to send your site visitors to your new domain. Otherwise, people will still be able to subscribe on your old site.
