Thanks but I have had 1354 subscribers. And now the widget is showing that i have only 39 subscribers. Is the transferring not completed?

If you’re referring to the followers number that was visible in your ‘Follow Blog’ widget, that widget includes all your Facebook and Twitter followers. The initial amount of followers you had were: 39 WordPress.com subscribers and 0 e-mail subscribers.

Hi,
invalid2412 is my consultant (as he will agree in next post) and I am the owner of the site.
Tell them this:
I am talking about widget which has the following title bar:
Blog Subsriptions (Jetpack): Follow Blog via Email
Right now its bottom part says:
Show total number of subscribers? (39 subscribers)
Previous the number was 1354 instead of 39.
Picture of widget at:
I don’t feel the rest of
If you still think that the rest (1354 – 39) of followers were people who followed my blog via twitter and facebook (my blog btw does not has facebook/twitter pages), then does it mean that those people still do get updates on their FB/twitter and that they get redirected to my new (self-hosted site)?Snapshot of the widget I have: http://screencast.com/t/ebyAiJqAM

Yes mysticsmuses is the owner of the blog and I am his consultant. I will let him do the talking now

If you set up the Facebook or Twitter connection through publicize at Settings -> Sharing in your blog’s dashboard, the followers will be added to your ‘Follow Blog’ widget again.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!

I had set up facebook, twitter, G+ and linked in already (around 10-12 hours ago and even before purchasing the 301 redirect service).
I just closed them all and re-linkedin them to see if that would the trick but nothing happened.Just so you know the widget’s description says: ”Add an email signup form to allow people to subscribe to your blog.” So are you sure this email sign up for lets facebook and twitter followers follow my blog? Just a thought. I could be wrong :)

Sorry for the confusion there. So on WordPress.com the widget includes your Twitter/Facebook followers, but the widget in Jetpack doesn’t support this. To show your Facebook/Twitter followers on your self-hosted site, you can use the ‘Share a link’ Twitter Button: https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons#tweet and the Facebook Like Box widget, which is available in Jetpack.
Thanks for the prompt replies and your patience!

I thank you too for trying your best :)
1. I tried the former option just now and I’ve tried the later option already. Both did not help.
2. The widget’s description says: ”Add an email signup form to allow people to subscribe to your blog.” So are you sure this email sign up for lets facebook and twitter followers follow my blog?
3. My subscribers had jumpted to 1356. And now my new site has 39 subscribers. I logged into the admin panel of old site and checked the stats at the same widget its 1317. Screen shot http://screencast.com/t/VXwyqFLHgF
And, 39 + 1317 + 1356
In other words my rest of 1317 subscribers are still lying at the old site’s database.I really hope we can solve this :)

The site hosted on WordPress.com is connected to Twitter/Facebook through publicize, we pull the followers data from those profiles to show in your Follower Blog widget. Then we add the WordPress.com and e-mail followers to it and display the total number in the widget.
The only numbers that are really in the database of your site are the WordPress.com and E-mail followers.
So are you sure this email sign up for lets facebook and twitter followers follow my blog?
It allowed anybody to follow your widget, it’s not connected to Facebook/Twitter.
As mentioned before the Jetpack widget does not work the same as it does on your WordPress.com blog, therefore you will only see 39 followers displayed.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Could you please explain what do you mean by ‘facebook and twitter followers”?
Are people able to follow my blog via their twitter and facebook profiles even if my blog does not has twitter and facebook profiles?

Those who follow your Facebook or Twitter profile.
Are people able to follow my blog via their twitter and facebook profiles even if my blog does not has twitter and facebook profiles?
No, the entire following feature depends on e-mail addresses only. This is not connected to Twitter or Facebook whatsoever.
Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

Thanks and I feel bad for constantly asking questions but, no one was following my blog via facebook and twitter profile or vice versa and even if we assume they did my FB followers numbers and twitter follower numbers way less than 1356 :/
If there is any comprehensive resource on the Follow Blog by Email widget or anything associated that can help me understand better, please feel free to share its link.
Thanks

It’s high likely that this number present the followers following your FB profile. On Facebook you can see your followers by clicking the number next to Followed by in the About box on your timeline.
Currently we have this support document with some information about the follow Blog Widget: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/

Thanks but I am sorry; its not the FB followers. The number of my FB and twitter followers combined is way less than the 1356 followers of my blog.
-
Even if i included the number of followers I have at ‘networked blogs’ (which is linked to my blog as well as my FB) the followers are way less than 1356.
