Moving subscribers (email and WP jetpack subscriptions)
-
I’m moving my blog from http://www.first2board.com/Milenomics to http://www.milenomics.com. In doing so I read that you can move the subscribers from one blog to the other. I’d like you to please do so, if at all possible.
Thanks!
Sam

Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

Jetpack is on both, and t he URLs are in the post. Thank you for that incredibly quick reply!

You’re welcome and please be patient while waiting for Staff to work their way forward to this thread.

Hi there,
I have migrated your followers and stats as requested.
Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
-
Thanks Jerry, I really appreciate you fixing that up.
Is there any way to update my wp.me shortlinks to the new site? I’ve been using the Facebook publicize feature for all my posts and would love to not have to manually update all the links on Facebook.
-
You may be able to find a 3rd party plugin that will allow you to do that, but shortlinks are not customizable in Jetpack at this time.
-
Not a big deal, I can do it by hand. Thanks Jerry.
Some users had resigned up at the new site, and when you merged the old subscription list they’re now receiving 2 emails. Is there an easy way to dedup the subscription list?
-
Unfortunately, subscribers would need to opt out on their end, as there is no way for me to do it for you.
