Moving subscribers from WordPress to self-hosted site
-
We have just moved our wordpress site http://www.alliandgenine.wordpress to http://www.allandgenine.com and would like to move our subscribers over.
I have already redirected the WP site over – is this possible to move the subscribers please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Unfortunately, no. They will have to resubscribe. But if you make a post on your WP.com blog containing the link to subscribe to the new one, many of them will re-subscribe.
-
Thansk for that – I did notice however that you guys were able to transfer over a previous WP users subscribers … is it definitely something you are unable to do for this site? Just checking! :)

No kidding. I went through hell when I moved my site. Click the JetPack link and see what I saw – subscribers & stats.

If you were using Jetpack Plugin’s subscription (“follow”) feature, we can move the followers to your another WordPress.com blog for you.
Please contact support from http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ and request that you want the blog followers moved to another site. Make sure to include:
– Full URL of your WordPress.org blog
– URL of your WordPress.com blog to move the followers to
