Moving subscribers from WordPress.com to self-hosted WordPress blog
-
I recently moved blog.500friends.com from a WordPress.com hosted account to my own host, and I would like to move the blog subscribers to the new instance with Jetpack, which I have installed and connected.
The old instance now shows up in my account as 500friends.wordpress.com.
Is this something you can do?

Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

I have installed and activated JetPack on my WordPress.org install and posted the relevant URLs to this thread. Again, they are:
Active Blog URL: http://blog.500friends.com
Old blog on wordpress.com (which has subscribers I want to transfer): 500friends.wordpress.com

Hi Andrew,

Thank you! BTW, it is possible to remove my name and phone number from the first post in the thread? I didn’t realize when I posted that this would visible to others.

Hi Andrew,
I went ahead and removed your phone number from the original post. For future, please be aware of our Forum Code of Conduct:
