Moving Subscribersfrom wordpress.com to self hosted wordpress.org

  1. We are requesting the wordpress.com team to move our wordpress subscribers(email and reader) from our current site (http://confusedbawarchis.wordpress.com) to our new self hosted wordpress.org site (www.confusedbawarchis.com). I have already enabled jetpack and have the subscriptions widget already in use.

  2. Is there a “Reader” equivalent in wordpress.org as well? If so where can we find it? When we try to like and comment from our reader it is still going as our old website.

  Hello Aditi & Nikhil,
  I will tag this for staff attention. They will move your subscribers for you. Please subscribe to this thread so you will know when they assist you.

  Staff is backlogged and works through threads in chronological order. The best thing to do is be patient, and know that they will take care of you as soon as they are able.

  As far as your question about a “Reader” in WordPress.org; Please go to their support forum and ask them for assistance. We answer questions for WordPress.com sites in this forum.
