Moving the domain to my new site

Greetings, I do not want to map my domain to the site until it is ready to publish. Is there a way I can skip this step please?

You can build your new site here and then wait to connect the domain until everything is ready to go.
You can get a free site and the free features with a
.wordpress.com subdomain. Use a temporary name for your site as an example: sitename.wordpress.comKeep the new site private as to not affect any SEO.
