thanks

Hi,
On the Button 2 theme, the “Leave a comment” link appears among the meta data (publish date, author, etc.) for each post on the blog page. If there are one or more comments on a post, then the “Leave a comment” link would be replaced by a link giving the number of published comments on the post (e.g. “1 Comment,” “5 Comments”). Each “Leave a comment” or “X Comments” link on the blog page link to the corresponding comments section at the bottom of the single post. See, for example, https://jesscoleblog.wordpress.com/2017/09/15/about-me/#respond. You’ll find a box labeled “Leave a Reply” at the top of the comments section on each single post.

I think moving or hiding the “Leave a comment” or “X Comments” links on the blog page would require CSS customization. If you have that upgrade and you’re interested in relocating or hiding that feature, then I’d suggest you either submit a request to the CSS Customization forum, or add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar at right here to call for staff attention.

Hi @jesscoleblog, I looked and it does not appear that you have the WordPress.com Premium or Business plan, which include Custom Design and the ability to add custom CSS. To make this sort of change, it would require one of these upgrades. This would be the custom CSS you would need.
.comments-link { position: absolute; bottom: 10px; left: 0; }
