moving this website to my own account

  hi there my friend built this website for my business on him account and added me to it ,for many days now i have been trying to contact him and get no joy as im trying to get my website back online as the hosting has run out .what can i do to get this website back on line as i cant contact my friend to renew the hosting

  Any hosting in place would need to be renewed by the account owner and this would be done here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
