moving to a domain

  i’m a total novice at blogging – i’m tempted to pay the $17+$8 to move to a domain name – but i don’t know what that means in terms of my learning curve – does everything still work the same but just the address is different? or will i need to know more about how to set things up to make that functional?

  Yes everything on the blog will work the same way. Note that after following the instructions to activate the domain mapping it can take up to 72 hours for the domain name change to propagate throughout the internet.
