Moving to the business plan

    So in the middle of editing this morning the whole interface changed to Disneyworld. Total loss of functionality with three steps for what used to take me on. I want to stay on the Classic Editor but not the one I am presented with today.. the real classic editor.. I understand that if I upgrade I can use a Jet pack plug in so I have classic editor.. but which one will I get.. right now I am sitting on over 9 years blogging.. a platform I have built up over that time and I am willing to pay to keep it the way I want it… Will that be the case.. Help please.. I don’t want to go to the block editor it does not suit my blogging needs.. thanks

    thanks for your response. I will consider the options. I support a great many authors who are nearly all WordPress bloggers promoting their books and also other bloggers. It is a full time occupation for me and I do it for free as I am an author myself. I don’t want to monetize my blog that is not why I do it. To pay 300 dollars a year to keep the classic editor is almost worth it, because the amount I blog does not suit the block editor. Nor do my health posts. I am very sad that after December 2021 if the option goes to use the Classic Editor that I will call it quits that would sadden me as it would be nearly ten years. It think that during this current covid crisis and lockdown, blogging has been a lifeline for millions. Especially those of us in our 60s and 70s who have been in constant lockdown. I know many who find this forced change to the block editor for non-monetised bloggers unwelcome and whilst we appreciate that WordPress needs to be funded our contributions do make a difference. I am sure that you don’t need to hear this so apologise.. but it has been a stressful day and I doubt that anyone up the chain is remotely interested in how many of us feel..thanks again for your help.
