Moving to WordPress.com

  Hi all.

  I plan on moving my blog to wordpress.com. So I read this, https://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/view-all/. My question is, since I already have a wordpress.com account and my blog is connected through Jetpack, can I just choose the Premium plan? Would it transfer everything from my hosting site to WordPress.com?

  Hi there,

  Jetpack only connects your site to WordPress.com so you can manage it from here and not having to log-in to the WP-Admin dashboard. Upgrading to any plan won’t transfer your site automatically. For that, you need to follow the step-by-step instructions in the guide you mentioned and we’re here to help you if you encounter any difficulties.
