MOVING TO WORDPRESS.COM
-
I have had a WordPress Website for 12 years. Someone told me that WordPress.com is the way to go. How difficult is it to move to com? Is there support? What is the best plan I have close to 950,000 readers a month? I do not want to lose my following. Can I keep same site address?

Hi there, I’m glad you’ve heard that! If your site has outside themes and plugins, and needs those to work to your satisfaction, you will need our Business Plan. But from there it’s dead simple to transfer here: just connect Jetpack to the site, and transfer everything over.
The Business Plan also comes with priority support, so you can contact us directly if you need any help with that.
If you are willing to use our built in themes and plugins, you’d be welcome to use any of our plans. You would transfer the content over, customize to your liking, then add your domain.
And yes you can use the same domain. You just need a paid plan for it to be your primary domain. And you can find pricing here:
https://wordpress.com/pricing/All of these include SSL and access to dozens of our own built-in themes and plugins, so contact forms, SEO, sharing buttons, and several other options will be taken care of.
I hope this helps! If you have other questions, just let us know.

Oh and for this:
What is the best plan I have close to 950,000 readers a month?
Can I recommend the Premium or Business plan? That way you can automatically have WordAds on the site for monetization. Both of those plans offer more customization and monetization options as well.
