  I HAVE A LARGE SITE ON WORDPRESS.ORG. WANT TO MOVE TO WORDPRESS.COM, WHAT ALL DO I NEED TO DO? WHAT KIND OF COST? WHAT ABOUT SUPPORT? CURRENTLY HAVE OVER 1,000,000 VIEWERS A MONTH, SITE HAS BEEN GOING FOR 12 YEARS. IF IT GOES DOWN HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO REACH SOMEONE TO GET UP AND GOING AGAIN?

  If you’ll need outside plugins, I’d recommend the Business Plan. You’ll get priority support, and as long as you’re reaching out as the account owner, we can usually resolve issues very quickly.

  If the site is very large, I’d recommend buying the plan prior to importing everything, so you can reach out to support if you need help with the import.

  If you don’t need outside themes or plugins (if you’re happy to work with what’s built into WordPress.com – and that’s quite a bit) you can just import the content and images to the plan of your choice. For most people I recommend Premium, but personal is good for many cases as well.
