Moving to WordPress.org

  I am considering moving to WordPress.org and using Bluehost to host our site. My question is, we paid for the upgrade at the yearly price for WordPress.com, if we move to WordPress.org, what happens to the money I paid?

  Hey there,

  There is a refund period for purchases which is 30 days. For a domain, the refund period is 48 hours. You can find that information here:

  Refund a Purchase

  You can, however, still use the domain name that you have with WordPress.com for your self hosted WordPress site.
