Moving username from one blog to another

  I created an account for my company with my name—jasonliller—as the username. Now, because I want to use my own name on my personal blog, I changed the username on the company blog to traceycjones. WordPress tells me that jasonliller still is not available even though it is no longer in use on the original blog. Is there any way to free this name up? Thanks for any help!

  Hi there,

  According to the support page on how to Change Your Username:

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use.

  So I’m afraid that you can’t use the username jasonliller anymore. The upside is that no one else can use it, either!
