Moving Veni template to hosted web site

    Since I have already purchased Veni, where can I download a copy for my hosted web site? I posted this for the Template Author but have had no response.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG so not run on the exact same software and themes are not transferable. The theme you purchased is licensed and provided for use only on wordpress.COM hosted sites.

    I cannot locate a version of the Veni theme for WordPress.ORG https://wordpress.org/themes/search/Veni/ so you will have to contact the theme’s designer and ask if a wordpress.ORG version is available.

    Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.

    • WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
    • The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
    • It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.

    Hi –

    You aren’t able to download the theme purchased for use here at WordPress.com as timethief has mentioned.

    What I can do is process a refund for the theme of $59, this should reach you within ten days. This would remove the theme form use on rkaybutlercom.wordpress.com. Let me know if you’d like to cancel the theme and I’ll process the refund.

    Thank you for your responses. I have decided to host the site on WordPress for now. I have changed the DNS server addresses in my GoDaddy account to point to WordPress. Soooo much simpler. I hope. If you know of anything else I need to do to make the domain name point to my WordPress site let me know. Thanks!
