Moving web address (owned by Yahoo) from WordPress.org to WordPress.com site

  My current website was created on WordPress.org and has a web address owned by Yahoo which I pay $13.94/month to keep. I want to move this web address from my current WordPress.org site to a new site I have created on WordPress.com.

  1) Should I do this through Yahoo by adding a new CNAME record? Or should I do this through WordPress.com under their ‘Map a Domain I Already Own’ link?
  2) I already pay Yahoo $13.94/month for my current web address and an accompanying email address. Should I pay WordPress and additional $13/year to map the new web address to my new site? Or would I be paying two entities for overlapping services?
