Moving Windows Live Space to wordpress.com

    Hi there I hope you can help me.

    A long time ago I knew that Windows Live Space was going to be closed and they were asking to people to move their accounts to wordpress.com.
    The thing is that I did not do it for that time, and now I´d like to get back the information I had there. I want to know if there is a way to do that or if my information is already erased, I tried the option import form the “Tools” menu, but there does not appears anything refering to WLS.

    I hope you please, help me with this, or at least I want to know is there is anything to do or not.

    I think you’re probably out of luck, but I’ll tag this for staff attention. Do you have any backup of your WLS?

    Thank you Raincoaster I do really appreciate your attention.

    Unfortunately I did not make any backup because I admit that I thought it was spam, they sent many mails telling me to do weird things in order to keep my Hotmail account because they were supposed to close all Hotmail account because of lack of space. that’s why when I first got an email asking me to migrate to wordpress.com, I thought it was spam too and I did not pay attention.

    I let time go and one day I realized that My Space disappeared and for that time I realized that they were telling me the true, I admit this is all my fault but if you guys know something to recover the few things I had there, you´ll make so happy.

    I’m afraid we have no access to Windows Live Spaces migrations as of March of 2011. You will need to Contact Windows Live directly about the possibility of getting a backup of your Spaces blog. http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?productid=7

    Thank you timethief, I went to the link that you post and I saw that there is no more support for WLS acording to this link
