moving WordPress

  I currently have a WordPress blog (website) hosted by Hostgator, and I am considering moving it to be hosted by WordPress. After signing up for hosting on WordPress, how do I get my current site to WordPress for hosting? I’ve never done this before, so I would need some really specific instructions. thanks
