I also have a question about posting on a self hosted WordPress blog . .
When you move to self hosting, are you still a full member of the WordPress community and do all your posts appear in the WordPress posts’ page alongside those of other bloggers as they used to appear before? -

When you switch to a self-hosted WordPress site, although you’re still a member of the wider WordPress community in a sense, you’re no longer a part of the WordPress.com network of sites, so your posts won’t appear in the way you describe.

hello kathrynwp,, thanks for your support. I have a question though i had about 21 email followers and now i only see 6 . . wat hapend to the others?

Hi thastryka – we had a look at your stats and it appears you had 18 WordPress.com followers and 11 email followers.
WordPress.com followers don’t get transferred over when you move to a self-hosted site. The reason you’re seeing only 6 email followers is that the remaining 5 are in the “pending” state, because they haven’t clicked the confirmation link in the email that goes out initially.

yes, jetpack is installed and connected to the WordPress.com account.
But the subscribers didn’t get transferred. -
