Hi Rishi,
We have a guide for Moving a Blog with tips for moving your site from WordPress.com to a self-hosted site (for example, hosted with GoDaddy).
You can Export all of the content from your site here to transfer it to your self-hosted site. You can get started with that export under Tools > Export in your site’s WP Admin dashboard.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

Hi,
Thanks for your response. I have already transferred the file from my existing website on wordpress, com (healthcurings.com) to the new website on wordpress.org. My question is, how can I transfer the same domain (healthcurings.com) to the new site (which has a dummy domain name). -
Hi there,
Ah, sorry I misunderstood the question! Your domain healthcurings.com isn’t registered here at WordPress.com — you’ll need to make a change with your domain registrar (where you registered the domain) to point it to GoDaddy instead of WordPress.com.
I checked your domain’s publicly available information, and it looks like the domain is actually registered at GoDaddy. In that case, you either contact GoDaddy support for assistance with that change or follow the instructions on their support page here:
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

Thank you so much. I have changed the name server to standard and it says, it’ll take some time to update the same. Well, the last question is do I need to delete the website on wordpress.com or choose healthcurings.wordpress.com instead of healthcurings as a primary site?
I’m asking this question cos it might cause duplication of content at healthcurings.wordpress.com to my new transferred domain healthcurings.com so I thought to delete the previous one on wordpress.com

If you leave healthcurings.com as the primary domain on your WordPress.com site, anyone who tries to view or visit the site at healthcurings.wordpress.com will be redirected to your GoDaddy site (as long as the domain mapping upgrade is active). That will prevent any duplication of content, since the WordPress.com site won’t be visible to anyone.
If you prefer, though you can set your WordPress.com to private by changing the privacy settings, or you can delete it permanently. Keep in mind that if you delete the site, that’s permanent and can’t be undone, and the address healthcurings.wordpress.com won’t be available for you or anyone else to use in the future.

Thanks a lot again for your guidance. Now, I can see on wordpress.com domain upgrade page:
healthcurings (healthcurings.wordpress.com – Current Site)
Domain: healthcurings.com — Status: ExpiringDomain Mapped to WordPress.com — This upgrade will expire in 40 days on April 22, 2015
This upgrade will expire in 40 days on April 22, 2015
Domain not pointing to WordPress.com
I think I’m on the right track now. Thanks a lot again for your kind help.
