Moving wordpress.com content to a wordpress.org blog

I think I eventually want to move from wordpress hosted to my own domain and outside hosting. Will it be possible to move content from my wordpress.com blog into a new wordpress.org blog? Would it be a painstaking, post by post, image by image process or is it a simple transfer?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
