Moving WordPress.com followers

  Hi,

  I was hoping to have my followers from http://notsolonelylondoners.wordpress.com to http://www.notsolonelylondoners.com please? I’ve seen that it’s possible based on previous threads, hoping I could have it done. I’m all connected up to Jetpack!

  Hi there,
  Staff can transfer your email subscribers only; followers who use the Reader cannot be transferred. I have flagged this thread for Staff attention.

  Thanks timethief – I’ve manually re-added my email subscribers (or at least resent them a confirmation email), was hoping Reader subscribers could come too…a shame if not, but hopefully a member of staff can confirm.

  Staff has already confirmed that the followers using the WordPress.com Reader cannot be moved to WordPress.org blogs that don’t have access to the WordPress.com Reader. WordPress.com bloggers are all members of a blogging the WordPress.com blogging community. WordPress.org installs are stand alone islands.

  Just to verify, @timethief is correct. We are able to transfer email subscribers to jetpack-hosted blogs, but we are not able to transfer Reader subscribers. As you’ve already transferred email subscribers, there’s nothing further we can do.
