Moving WP posts to new server without XML?

    Good day all. I did some searching and the only answers I came up with were transferring posts via XML export/import.

    We just closed our old server since we moved to a new eCommerce site. Our blog was hosted on media temple and I pulled the whole folder out from the FTP location. I just did an install of wordpress on Blue Host and was wondering if I could import the posts with the files I have.

    I had no problem importing the themes but I really need to move the posts to the newly hosted version of WP.
