Moving WP site to new host
-
I have my blog currentlty hosted with wp and I am moving it over to my own domain with hosting @godaddy. I have exported my old blog and imported into the admin panel of the new blog.
Will my current followers follow me over to the new host?
Do I need to close my wp hosted blog? I’m not sure what the next step is so I can avoid duplicate web entries.
Thanks.

I need to update my DNS. domain name purchased at WP less than 60 days ago so can’t move but would like to map the domain to a different host. your tutorial is simple but the Admin Panel under Domains/ Edit DNS does not even come close to following it. Please change the DNS records for bloglastcall.com to
Point the domain A record to 65.254.250.160
Mx record to mx.powweb.com
CNAME to bloglastcallcom.powweb.com
this should not be this difficult. thanks.

Hooperschallenge,
Can you please post the URL of your WordPress.com blog, your WordPress.org blog, and as Not a Woodpecker has noted, you will need to enable JetPack on your WordPress.org installation.
Cheers!
