Moving/pointing current site to a new one
-
For the record, I am using a Theme no longer being supported by WordPress (Piano) and do not know if this will make a difference in what I’d like to do.
I would like to create a new blogsite (such as dancewithfire.wordpress.com) and have the content at m2labs.wordpress.com attached to the new one WITHOUT having to make any design changes. (I’ve put a lot of time and effort into getting the look and feel of things exactly the way I want and I don’t want to “muck it up”.)
Would this be easy to achieve?
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
You won’t be able to use a retired theme on a website created after the theme was retired. Is the retired theme named “Piano,” or “Piano Black?” You would be able to use that theme on any WordPress.com website created before the theme was retired.

It’s Piano Black, and since the theme has already been retired that pretty much answers my question.
I will stay where I am.
Thank you for your quick response.

If you’re interested, I have an unused test site that was created a couple of years ago that you may have. The Piano Black theme has been successfully applied to it, which means that the theme was retired since the site was created in June 2015. The site URL can be changed after it the ownership is transferred.
