Mozilla FIrefox Browser, WordPress and Feedly pop-up icon
-
Feedly has a pop up icon (lower right corner the browser). It interferes with the WordPress “follow” icon/pop up. It’s next to impossible to access the WP pop up b/c Feedly suppresses it. WP icon disappears completely but before it does, it’s very had to click on it and “catch it”.
I haven’t really used Google Reader and don’t know if I’ll continue to use Feedly in Reader’s upcoming absence. However, I thought this issue worth mentioning.
I mentioned this to Feedly support as well – requesting options for placement or fixes.
Thanks, Jenn R.

Hi there!
Can you take a screenshot of this behavior and upload it to your site’s media gallery? I’m not familiar with Feedly at all, so I’m not sure what the pop up is!
As an alternative, you could start using the WordPress.com Reader for your feeds! Here’s a recent blog post that might help you make a decision:

I have uploaded 2 photos into my media library. They are “screenshot feedly 1” and “screenshot feedly”. Do I need to post them on my blog? Or can you see them behind the scenes?
In posting my concerns, I was also thinking about those who visit WordPress blogs and perhaps miss the “follow” option b/c it’s overridden. Once the page is loaded, WP’s icon disappears and there’s nothing to click on to bring it back up. Reload and try to catch it is the only thing I’ve found that works.
I’ve got the blog post you mentioned open and was reading it, going back there to finish reading it. Feedly does have a very nice layout (with choices).
Thank you.

Thank you for those screenshots! I originally thought it was being hidden because you were logged in to WordPress.com, but I was able to replicate this in another browser using the plugin.
I’m not sure if there’s anything we can do on our end to fix it – but I have let our developers know about this issue.
Thanks for letting us know!

Thanks and you’re quite welcome.
P.S. I read the Reader info for WP. I looked into my WP Reader and more into Feedly. They’ve got a really polished looking reader there. I’m using the ‘magazine’ style they have and it’s awesome. … just sayin’
Thanks, again!
