  Why can’t I add MP3 and wav files to my blog posts?

  Oh, thanks! I was trying to upload audio using the little icons on the Writepost page – thought I could upload different types of media that way.

  To upload sound files to WP.com you’d need the space upgrade. You can, however, host them elsewhere like Odeo or Google and use them in your posts, provided your host allows hotlinking from your account.
