  How do I put an MP3 file onto my site. Its just the normal site at the moment. Thanks Betty

  Audio and video files are only permitted with the purchase of the WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plans. You can check all accepted filetypes at https://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

  Alternatively, you can use Soundcloud to host your audios and embed Soundcloud audio player following the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/soundcloud-audio-player/

  Thanks for your reply.

  If I want to put the soundcloud – to embed audio player onto my site without going premium, does that mean that the listen can just click on my site and hear my audio file or do they have to join sound cloud? thanks so much. betty

  It’s an audio player like youtube video player, you can just hit Play without logging in :)
