.mp4 and .mov won't show on my blog!
-
I pay for the capability to add videos, and have in the past, but suddenly I can’t upload my home videos from my phone to the blog!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog your purchased the videopress ugrade for.
-
http://amysreallife.wordpress.com I will add the latest video to today’s blog so you can see what’s going on.
-
You can see the word “bedtime” where the video should be. Bedtime is the name of the video. It’s an .mov file.
-
Please paste the code that uploading gives you here between Code tags, so we can look at it. That’s very odd.

Very odd; I don’t see that code at all in your post. Can you confirm the upgrade is still active, it’s not expired?
-
raincoaster, I just renewed it last week. Payment went through last week. I’ve sent two emails to WordPress and haven’t heard back. The code doesn’t show up…just the name of the image.
-
I could only find one email from you. I sent that over to the VideoPress guru, so hopefully you’ll head back soon.
-
Actually, reading through this, we made some major improvements to the iPhone uploads around that time. Where you using an iPhone? If so, would you please try again?
-
Now it just says the video is being processed, but it doesn’t show. That’s only in preview mode. Will it show the actual video when it is posted?

Here’s the code, now. However, I have to paste it into the body of my post. When I use the “add media” button, and upload the file, it just comes up as “bedtime.” The code is there, so I have to cut and paste it into the body of the post. But, then it just says it is processing and won’t ever show.

All videos are actually corrupt and missing a width statement in their files.
Would you please try opening the video in QuickTime Player and selecting “Export for Web” from the File menu? Then, upload the resulting file.
-
Okay. It seems to be working now. Will people need to have a certain program to open this video? Also, is this the process I will need to use from now on when I am uploading a video that I took on my phone? Is there a reason I now need to go through all these steps, when before I could just upload normally? Thanks.
