  To upload videos (mp4, m4v, mov, wmv, avi, mpg, ogv, 3gp, 3g2), VideoPress is needed.
  i have to add mp4 files of commercials I’ve worked on into my blog : marleneming.com
  Last night at 2.48am I purchased a space upgrade for USD112.47 thinking it would allow me to upload those files – however it seems that this is not possible – DID I MAKE A MISTAKE ?? ….IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADVISE ME PLEASE ??!!!!

  You don’t necessarily need the space upgrade in order to upload video, just the VideoPress upgrade (accessible via Store -> Upgrades in your dashboard). If you need more than 3GB of space for your videos, that’s when you would need to purchase a space upgrade.

  You could also upload your videos to a third-party service like YouTube or Vimeo and embed them on your WordPress.com blog for free: http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/
