MP4 video uploads and seems to process but fails
-
videopress not working? I have uploaded a bunch of similar videos with no problem. Interims140214Test3 uploaded but fails to show. It was edited and produced in Camtasia. It runs well in Camtasia and as an mp4 locally. I have re-produced the video and re-uploaded it a couple of times with the same fail.
Is this problem at my end or yours? In the past anything that Camtasia successfully produces as an MP4 uploaded and ran without a catch in videopress.

Hi there,
It looks like this may have been a temporary issue that you were able to resolve. Currently, it looks like the file “Interims140214Test3” is available here:

Please let me know if you’re still having trouble!

Thanks, but try playing it. The video stats say correctly the length is 20min but if you try to capture a screen shot it is all blank and if you try to run the video in a post it gives an error message that the video is not available.

Hi,
I was able to successfully embed the video in a test post on your blog. The video was playing correctly on my side. I captured a few screenshots to illustrate:

http://d.pr/i/ShMdCan you try re-embedding the video in a test post on your side and see if you’re still experiencing issues?

Still not working, in fact it looks like it is a bigger issue. Videos which did run show the video in the post but when you click on it to run the video we get “Service Error: There was a problem getting the configuration information. Please try again later.” in small red letters.

I forgot to include some examples. We keep our training videos at

Hi,
I was able to visit the page you mention and play the first 7-8 videos without a problem. You can view a short example of my test here:
Can you try the following?
1. Try another browser on your computer.
2. Try another computer.
3. Try another internet connection.
Let me know if any of those steps solve the issue!

Well, I have to say “I never saw that coming”. Yes the issue was a change our IT folks made to our firewall. All is well now, sorry to take up so much of your time with a wild goose chase.
