mp6 – admin bar colors on .im sites

    I recently visited Karims page at http://kar.im and came across some weird color formattings in the admin bar. Bear in mind I’m using the new dashboard design by enabling the checkbox at Users → Personal Settings → Admin design.

    Saw this only on Karim’s site. Checked other sites with an own domain like http://raincoaster.com but everything looks fine there. Like always I’ve made a screenshot. :)

    Not sure if my site is a good example ;) It might be caused by the things (CSS etc) I’m constantly editing/testing.

    Feel free to ping us whenever this happens on a different site too.

    I’ve checked with Firebug. The mentioned CSS changes in the admin bar on your site are referenced from a file on http://s1.wp.com/_static/

    AFAIK the admin bar is always part of WordPress.com. So I thought you can’t change it by editing some CSS on your own site. To me it looks like the admin bar loads some CSS files that are part of the current design (not the new mp6) and therefore mp6 user see these weird colors.

    Well, it’s no big deal at the moment but I thought you should know it. Just in case Automattic makes the switch to mp6 in the future, you should maybe also check blogs with domains different to .wordpress.com.
