  I created a new blog within my already existing one. Everything’s fine, but…I don’t want the usual author’s name to show up in Blog #2 because the general subject of that one is quite personal. I need more multipersonality disorder here, if you catch my drift.

  Is there a way to manage this? Or purchase this, if need be?

  Hi there,

  So you are wanting another existing user’s name to be associated with certain posts on your second blog?

  If so, all you need to do is add that user as an author to the blog:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/adding-users/

  If you are referring to having the same user with two different author names, the best bet would most likely be to create another username as an alias author. Changing usernames is permanent in the sense that once you change to a new username, the old one is gone forever – so there isn’t an ability to switch author names back and forth.
