    I have sent invites to authors (other writers) to become authors on my blog. Their invite asks for a Password? How do they get this?

    PS: is it that they must have a wordpress.com blog with their own password and use that? If so, is there another way?

    Hello!

    Yes, to answer you question, they will need to have their own WordPress account to access your blog, as referenced here.

    I don’t believe there’s any other option for them to be able to contribute to your site without them having their own account. That being said, they don’t need to use/even fully setup their own blog on their account. Yours will simply appear as one of their blogs in the “My Blogs” page on their dashboard.
