multi columns with full post contentto play embedded videos

Hi
I’m trying to post embedded videos from youtube in multiple columns like the theme set up now. The theme I have now would be perfect but it wants to display the featured image instead of the embedded video. Is there a work around or a theme that supports this kind of layout and play the video?

It’s not possible to use videos as a featured image. Mixfolio will only show images on the front page, even if you use the Video post format (which is designated by a film icon in the lower right corner of the image). Videos will only show when someone clicks and opens the post itself.
However, there are a couple of video-centric themes in the showcase that you might want to explore. Check out their demo sites as well.
