Multi Language Version
-
Hello maybe it’s just a stupid question, maybe not :-) (i’m wp-newbie).
I would like to run out my blog in multi-language version.
List of posts in English verion will be different from Fr version or Cs version. Also list of categories (and top-menu items) will be separated.
And question? Is good idea to have Lang in top-level category and the rest – different catogires for each lang?
Exactly – i would like to run at one domain more versions of blog with one version of administration :-) I hope u understood me..
Respect:-)

Not really. Only method I can think of is by including the different versions within the same Post and doing internal anchor tags within the Post.
I’ve only ever seen one CMS do this “out of the box” in the past and it appears they’ve stopped development on it.

You can. It’s your blog. :)

ok. i have a similar question so i will ask here. can i have the same blog in more then one language? like “for english press here” and if yes, how?

You can create a link in a text widget for your readers to click and see the blog in a different language. You’d use something like Babel Fish or Google Translate to translate your blog, and then use that address as the link; the translations aren’t 100% accurate but it’s a quick way of doing it.

Then you just put a “click here for English” link to the second blog in your sidebar. Hope that helps.
