Multilingual Press

We need the Multilingual Press plugin, which has a powerful automatic language auto-redirection function. Some people believe such a function unnecessary, but many of our customers do.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • @toyodafengtianpungjeon I am not positive whether that plugin works here if it requires access to server settings. But as you have a business plan, you are welcome to give it a try and revert if it doesn’t work.

There are other multi language plugins available, too. We have seen folks here have good luck with WPML or Polylang.

Also, please note you can reach chat support directly at http://wordpress.com/help/contact .

WPML would be great, but it is not compatible with WordPress.com (according to a staff member, with whom I chatted yesterday). I give a try with Polylang, even though its language redirection function is limited to start pages. I hope Polylang expands its language negotiation/redirection functions! Thanks.

  • I’m also staff; I saw your chat. WPML is compatible with WordPress.com (we recommend it) but it may not be compatible with other things you have installed on your site.

Give the polylang a try and let us know if that helps. Cheers :)

Polylang’s language negotiation is limited the start page and does not mean much to my website. But as I was told WPML was incompatible I have gone so far as to paying 99 euro for Polylang Pro. I’m know paying 79 dollars for WPML.

  • Whatever you choose. Do know WPML should not be incompatible. There must have been some other issue.
