  I cant log in anymore using wordpress and it doesnt recognize my email.

  I have a hosted website through gator which i cant figure out.
  I started a downloadable wordpress from bitnami for a second wordpress site to have standalone.
  Now neither passwords work and wordpress doesnt recognize my email.

  I will need to start a google sites theme instead if i cant figure wordpress out.

  Hi there,

  What’s the site URL you are having trouble accessing?

  If your site is hosted through ‘gator’ (I’m assuming Hostgator), then it’s a self-hosted site using the open-source WordPress.org software, and you’re in the wrong forums. You need to seek assistance from WordPress.org forums which can be found at:

  https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites. The difference between the two is explained, here:

  Hi Grace-
  I think my problem is a) i have no idea what im doing, b) i have to many sign up accounts that have now conflicted with everything.

  Heres what i think i know:
  1. I built a website using gator host which is what you describe above as wordpress.org ; the website made is http://cookislandsgis.com

  2. I have instructions from a professor that say to download a wordpress standalone web page creation using a webpage called bitnami. I used my same contact information as the above website.

  3. I may have a wordpress.com account under the same name as well.

  4. my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff) : earlier this morning i was able to log into the wordpress using the send me a new password. However now that Step-2 has been completed, I can’t log into any wordpress. The exception is what i think is wordpress.com because im talkingto you and i see my little NCSU icon logo in the upper right.
