Multiple accounts with one email address

  I have a specific use case where I need to be able to create multiple user profiles on my WordPress site using the same email address. I am attempting to sell online courses, but some are geared towards kids who do not have email addresses. So what needs to happen is the kids need to be able to create their own accounts on my WordPress site using their parents email addresses. Especially because I am using LearnDash and it grabs the certificate name from the user profile, so the user profile needs to be specific to the kid but the email needs to be the parents email. I have a situation where a parent signed up three kids to take a class using one email address, but could only create an account for one of them using the one email. I looked online and there’s only one plugin that I can find (last updated in 2017) that seems to add this ability. I am shocked that WordPress has not considered this use case and that there doesn’t seem to be any other easy workarounds other than diving into the code, which I am not confident enough to do. Are there any solutions that I am missing here?

  I am using Foo Events to capture participant information because we also sell in-person courses and use it for scheduling, so I looked into having LearnDash grab certificate and participant info from Foo Events, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that either due a lack of way to integrate them. So instead I am using Uncanny Codes to sell and redeem online class registrations. This works except for this email account issue.
