Multiple Authors, single blog

    We have just recently opened our blog and we want multiple authors to write on it. I do not want all those authors to go through the registration process so I want to make accounts for them.
    Is this possible or can they only blog on my page if they have registered on wordpress and thus have their own blog? Or can they just log in with the name and password I made for them?
