multiple authors without their wordpress accounts

Is it possible in any way, to have multiple authors in one blog without making them to create their own blog?
Can I have a blog in which the entries will be written by different people?
But those people do not have a wordpress account.Thank you!

You could have them email you their posts, and you could paste it in using the Copy from Text paste icon.

Yes but that means that it will still be a post published by me. I want to give credit to them. About 7-9 authors who regularly write and would publish entries under their name. Is that possible?

They just need an account, no blog required – then add them as Author or Contributor. they can then write their own Post on your blog. Author can approve their own Post to Publish, Contributor needs to have and Admin or Editor approve for Publish

you might also warn them that when they signup that the “create a blog” part seems to be a bit in their face, just don’t click on the make a blog – a blog name will be reserved to match their user name / account in case they change their mind later
